Dr. Ekpenyong Okon Ekpenyong, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Solid Minerals is dead.
Dr. Ekpenyong answered the call to eternal glory last weekend, after he left office hale and hearty.
He was the husband to the former House of Assembly member who represented Mbo State Constituency, Hon. Mrs. Alice Ekpenyong.
Dr. Ekpenyong was the CMD of General Hospital, Ituk Mbang in Uruan Local Government Area before his appointment by His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel as Permanent Secretary and posted to the Ministry of Environment and Solid Minerals.
Dr. Ekpenyong replaced Barr. Offiong Udoffe who also died last year.
