ANAMBRA ELECTION DECLARED INCONCLUSIVE - INEC

 


Mrs Florence Obi, the state returning officers and vice-chancellor of University of Calabar made this declaration in early hours of Monday 8th November, 12:20 a.m,she said this was because there was no election in ihiala LGA which has over 148,000 registered voters.


INEC was unable to deploy voting materials on Saturday in that LGA due to security threat, she added.


Meanwhile, Charles Soludo, APGA candidate scored a total vote of 103,946 votes and won in 18 out of 21 Local Government Areas of the state.


He was closely followed by PDP candidate, Valentine Ozigbo, who scored 51,322 and won in just one LGA.


INEC returning officer of the state, Mrs Obi, has said that supementary election will be held in ihiala LGA before she can declare the winner.
