MANY FEARED DEAD AS TRUCK COLLIDES WITH COMMERCIAL BUS AND TOYOTA SPIDER IN OBOSI ANAMBRA




Four people were confirmed dead while many sustained injuries in road crash that involved a tipper loaded with sand, a commercial bus belonging to Izuchukwu motors and a private vehicle today, 28th September 2020 at Obosi in Idemmili North Council Local Government Area of Anambra State.




An eyewitness identified as Mr Obiora Chinonso (a trader at Mgbuka Obosi) who joined in rescuing victims said that the incident happened as a result of over speeding and break failure.




This incident happened after Obosi Police Station off Onitsha-Owerri road which involved the tipper with registration number: JIT 168 XG, Izuchukwu bus with registration number: ABN 430 YN and a black Toyota Spider with registration number: FST 122 DQ.




The four corpses have been deposited at a nearby morgue while the injured ones were taken to Unity Hospital Obosi for immediate treatment.




The driver of the ill-fated black Toyota Spider thanked God for saving their lives and FRSC Officials, Police Force and passerbys for joining in rescue operation.
