There was on going peaceful arrangements of the burial ceremony today, February 13, 2020 in the compound of his Royal majesty Late Eze Isreal Kanu, the Egwu Ukwu ll of Afara Ibeku Umuahia in Abia State.

They said that this calmness of the environment and also the roads leading to the palace tantamounts to the peaceful personnel of the Late King and his existing family, that Nigeria government should know that there is no reason to disturb the burial of this great father and mother of Biafrans and IPOB family and Philanthropist tomorrow being 14th February 2020.

Meanwhile, dozens convoy of the Biafran Security Service (BSS) arrived in Umuahia on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 and more are still coming according to the order of the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The security are meant to mount at check points of 1 kilometers from any Army checkpoint in the state, in order to monitor the soldiers from now until the burial is over.

They said: "BSS have assured everyone coming for the burial of their safety as they came prepared for the Nigerian soldiers not withstanding that BSS are not armed but may be forced to do so, say if Nigerian soldiers attempts the 2017 massacre in Afaraukwu community of Abia state Biafra or tries to stop the Burial or makes any arrest of Biafrans.

Therefore, we ask the Nigerian security to maintain this calmness till the burial is over and allow people to attend the ceremony peacefully.
