TEKNO RISKS TO JAIL 2 YEARS FOR PUBLICLY DANCING WITH VAN STRIPPERS IN LAGOS (VIDEO)

A popular Nigerian musician, Augustine Kelechi popularly known as Tekno and four others may face two years jail term for displaying a music video with semi-nude women seductively dancing publicly in a truck.

The incident occurred on Friday around Lekki-Ikoyi toll gate bridge in Lagos, where Tekno was seen dancing and spraying money on semi-nude women at the same time hitting their buttocks.

The act which they displayed was said to be in contravention of section 134 of the criminal law of Lagos State 2015, which stated that any person who engaged in such act of gross indecency in public with another person that both parties have committed an offence which will be liable to a conviction to two years imprisonment.

As a result of that, the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency suspended the truck in which they used in shooting out the music video on indecent advertisement in Lekki-Ikoyi Lagos.

The Agency also added that that truck with Lagos State number plate APP713XL, has been registered with the agency for the deplorable reason.

“The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency has suspended, pending final investigation, the practicing licence of an advertising firm, Provision Media System Limited, over indecent advertisement around the Lekki/Ikoyi toll gate.”

“We wish to state, without equivocation, that no outdoor mobile advert truck within the jurisdiction of our dear state is licensed to display such crass immorality of the calibre that the owner(s) of this unregistered truck exhibited on our roads over the weekend,” the agency said.
