The Coordinator of Operation Safe Corridor, the Federal Government's rehabilitation Center for surrendered Boko Haram Terrorists, Major General Bamidele Safa was on Monday handed over a total of 151 repentant Boko Haram Terrorists in Maiduguri, who were admitted and rehabilitated at the Gombe camp for over a year now.
Among the 151 of them includes, 19 teenagers and 132 adults. They have undergone 52 weeks training (a year and four months) programme.
The were given vocational training, introduced to western education, social activities, psycho-social treatment and counselling.
They have pleaded their allegiance to the Federal Republic of Nigeria through a aquasi-judicial court and promised not u on return to terrorism or insurgency again.
Are these Boko Haram terrorists really repented?
