The Rev Umah was kidnapped in Uyo in 1978 when he was invited to a program where there is no church.
They took him to an inner room and forced him to bring his car keys and sign his cheque book.
He replied that the car key and money were giving to him by Jesus Christ and He must tell him to give them those things which they demanded before he will release it to them.
They responded that they shall give him a drink that will enable him see Jesus.
"I took the cup and command the acid to function like that I don't know the name which you are called rather you function like tea."
"I drank the acid nothing happened."
