GOV GANDUJE SIGNED BILL ON DEPOSITION OF EMIRS

The Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje was on Wednesday signed into a newly law passed bill on the appointment and deposition of the Emirs.

This law was created for four new traditional institutions and Emirate councils with each substantive title of Emir. They include Rano, Gaya, Karaye and Bichi.

This new law may affect the Emir of Kano State, Muhammadu Sanusi II as it was signed by Ganduje.

The new arrangement was that the Kano Emirates will only be covering 10 local government areas.

The Rano Emirates cover 10 local government areas.

Gaya Emirates cover eight local government areas.

Karaye Emirates cover six local government areas.

Bitchi Emirates cover nine local councils.

This fights are between two groups here but a lot or majority of Nigerian don't know including some even from Kano state.

The group of Pre-fulani jihad and Fulani jihad.

They were kings in Rano before 1804, it was the coming of Fulani dynasty that removed or abolished that ancient system and those who were the indigenous people the real Hausa kingdom.

Rano used to be one among seven Hausa states but their independence were taken after the coming of Fulanis.

Meanwhile, creating emirate now is like giving back to them what was taken from them 215 years ago.
