The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development was on May 24, 2019 in Akure, Ondo State launched a new age classification in Nigeria.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung officially announced the new age classification starting from downward 18 — 35 to 15 — 29 years.
The Minister stated that the Federal Government reviewed age classification from downward to enable the real youths benefit from the government when they are young and not adults masquerading as youths.
