Mazi Francis Njoku, one of Biafrans veteran said that what they suffered during Biafran war will not be in vain.
Nigerian government treated us like slave. We fought them with machetes and sticks while Nigerian soldiers had machine guns, he said.
We Biafrans sacrificed a lot within that 3 years of war. Till now, Nigerian government has never seized from maltreating and killing us.
The only solution we should have is to get Biafra.
"We went to that war with nothing, we went empty-handed. Some held machetes, some had sticks. They [Nigerian forces] had machine guns. But we fought very hard and the war lasted for 3 years. We sacrificed a lot in our fight to get Biafra. But since after the war, the Nigerian government have continued to kill us. If you come to Igbo-land you can see there is no development here. The Nigerian government are treating us as slaves. We still need Biafra, Only Biafra Can Save Us".
