Ovulation is the discharge of a mature ovum from the ovary. It's known as the period in which a healthy matured woman is expected to get pregnant without stress.
How to calculate Ovulation time
1. Starting from the day you saw your menstruation.
2. Count 15 days starting from the day your menstruation started.
3. Circle that 15th day with a pen in your calendar.
4. Circle 3 days days before the 15th day and circle 3 days after the 15th day.
5. At the end, you discover that you have circled 7 days.
These 7 days circled stand as your Ovulation/Fertile days. Means you have 99% chances of getting pregnant within the 7 days, if you are healthy.
Simply analysis
1. You saw your menstruation on 1st April 2019.
2. Calculate 15 days starting from the first day which 15th April 2019 means two weeks.
3. The 3 days before the 15th days are 12, 13 and 14.
4. The 3 days after the 15th days are 16, 17 and 18.
5. Then the 7 days are from 12th - 18th April. These 7 days are known as your ovulation period.
