APRIL FOOLS' DAY

April fool migrated to England from France in the late 1600s.

April fools' day has been celebrated for several centuries by different cultures.

April fools' day was named after Steve April who was born on 1st April 1579.

Steve April lost all his father's assets after he had failed in 105 businesses in his lifetime. After that everyone stated calling him father of the fools.

He married a 61 year old woman at age of 25 who later divorced him because of his foolishness after a year of marriage.

However, the fool in April Fools' day is plural because many people are becoming fools on this day.

The non-standard spelling of April Fools' day are fairly common and not technically incorrect.
