A 14 year old orphan named Haruna was remanded in Keffi prison for 21 days for stealing a grinding machine in Zaria.
Haruna lives with a cousin who carries dirt in Mpape.
Bakia Thomas saw Haruna with handcuffs brought to Mpape court in a prison van for final judgement when he came to release a document for some one in prison.
Bakia had pity on his age and got him freed.
After setting Haruna free, he was asked if he will like to go to school. He respond was no but preferred to be a mechanic.
Bakia has promised to register him to learn a mechanic work.
Haruna would have been in jail over grinding machine worth of ₦12,000 if Bakia didn't free him.
