The Senate on this day approved the new national minimum wage of N30,000.
The report on minimum wage was headed by Senator Francis Alimikhena.
House of Representatives had already approved the new minimum wage bill.
Federal Government has been asked by upper chamber to submit a supplementary budget that will cover the new minimum wage structure for consideration and approval.
Hope this minimum wage we can improve the general productivity of our nation. And also hope that the implementation will start immediately.
