A VICTORY FOR THE YORUBA IN KWARA AND OYO ~ GEORGE AKINOLA

I don't know whether some people actually understand it or not, but a revolution has been ignited surreptitiously by the Yoruba in Kwara and Oyo states.

Forget that the APC won in Kwara. It was expedient that the neglected and oppressed Yoruba of Kwara should ride the APC wagon to be able to rid themselves of the Saraki satanic hegemony in cahoot with the finger of the Satan (Sultan) of Sokoto (the emir in Ilorin) which had been rudely poking Yoruba in the face for 200 years (come 2023).

Now the Fulani and the Buhari bullshit are confronted with a pyrrhic victory in Kwara state. It is a victory they cannot jubilate for. Neither is it one they would want to be seen to reject!

Abere bo lowo adete,  o de te! The lepper beholds the dropped needle,  befogged!

Equally, forget that the PDP won in Oyo state. It was expedient that the people should speak loudly to power through the PDP banner.

Ajimobi had gone partially deaf and mad in his deployment of power and in his depraved utterances. He spoke mannerlessly and without tact.

Well,  the people showed him who really had the power by rudely awakening him from his trance of tyranny.

Oyo Mesi!  Ibadan si Mesi ogo!!

And this is a little message for the benefit of the self styled Jagaban of Nigerian politics, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Yoruba always chose the time to throw off all their tyrants! Local and foreign.

These innocuous little happenings are the beginning signals of a mighty revolution brewing in the innards of omo Oduduwa.

We have rejected the fraudulent constitution illegally foisted on us, but the people who have forcefully usurped power have refused to listen.

They forced an election backed by the fraudulent constitution to happen.

The people have spoken again. More vociferously!

I know their next and final card is to generate anarchy, backed by a show of force to arm twist people to keep quiet!

Well, they should go back in to history to check: YORUBA do not keep quiet in the face of tyranny. They get stronger and more daring, and have never shied away from picking up the gauntlet, going up in arms to drive out the oppressors.

For us, the Yoruba, we do not appease the oppressor, we confront him, confound him, deconstruct him until we destroy him!

Yoruba history emphatically assures them that fate!

(George Akinola is the spokesman of YOLICOM).
