There was a great joy among the people of Abagana and Nimo as Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano stormed the area to officially supervise the pace and quality of work on the road construction that is ongoing.
The road which starts from St Michael school junction Nimo, through Bekee Hospital with a spur to the bypass of the road leading to Secretariat Abagana, is being done under the auspices of the state government and was attracted by Hon Sir Peter Ibida, member representing Njikoka 2 constituency in the state house of Assembly.
Meanwhile, the Governor Obiano expressed delight over the quality and speed of the job and promised that the road will be completed soonest with all the facilities necessary in a modern road to include: street lights, traffic lines, gutters and lane peg demarcator.
He swiftly and passionately urged the people to vote massively for Hon Peter Ibida who he can attest to his credibility and fineness due to enormous and unparalleled achievements he has attracted to Njikoka 2 constituency.
Moreso, Hon Peter Ibida who was visibly elated thanked the governor for his love for his constituency considering a lot of projects he has brought to the people of the area at the instance of his request and those he did without request.
Furthermore, without hesitation, Hon Peter Ibida pleaded with the governor to please ensure that the Oye-Agu Abagana through Abagana girls secondary school to-Nimo Road which is under construction is completed in the nearest time for the socio-economic well-being of the constituents.
